That is great, Jim-st !
rob

Thanks Rob - it's on Constitution Hill, Johannesburg, and to my shame I don't know/ recall the name of the sculptor or of the work. The location is the site of a notorious apartheid era prison, now a monument to truth and reconciliation, and location of the Constitutional Court which is engaged in processing/ progressing cases arising from the colonial and apartheid eras, and from the post-apartheid era. The shadows of history loom long over modern South Africa, but there is immense hope, and abundant creativity manifest in public art works such as this.
Interesting and immensely impressive that such a legal institution should also be a significant gallery of modern South African artworks

Kind regards

Jim
