Photo Caption Contest

"As a child she had a pug who would bark if she heard the name Nixon."

I don't know quite why I found that so funny, but it really made me chuckle with my tea this morning. How's the blizzard there now?

... okay, entries are closed.

RFF members please weigh in on the above caption entries and write down your favorite -- only one. And you can't vote for your own caption.

I'll give the voting 48 hours -- with the winning caption announced this Wednesday 1/27/2016 at 9pm NY EST.

Good luck and let the voting begin.

Hi Folks,

So far we only have 3 votes. I think we need about 15 votes to have any sort of a voting process. My thinking is that if the voting remains low, I should pick a winner out of a hat. We'll see where things stand tomorrow night and go from there.

Thanks for participating. 🙂

Dan

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for participating. Unfortunately there weren't enough votes. I thought I had crafted a fun contest. Maybe it was the subject matter.

Anyway, I put the choices in a hat and the winning caption is:

"Piss the Season to be Jolly, fa la la la la" -- submitted by Helen.

Thanks to all!

Best regards,
Dan

I know how that goes myself. So sorry to hear of this news Helen. Try and think about the good times that you had. Seventeen plus years is a very long life for a dog and it sounds as though it was a very happy life that you gave her.
