This is the only color I like on the new Corvette...I've seen them in blue, red, yellow...not sure if I've seen one in black...but in white it is beautiful...

A friend of mine just bought the convertible new. His was about $65k. Some Simple cars are that much. I haven't ridden in his but I will. He has and had many Vettes. And he says this is the best riding of any of them. Maybe I'll call him tomorrow to drive me to coffee.

I still wish I hadn't given my Alfa to my son. Do you still have yours?

My good friend has a 2006 Vette and I've driven it..was impressed with the acceleration then just as impressed with the braking...a fun car to be in as a driver or passenger...

No, I sold the Frankenspider in 2008. It was a delightful machine, but I'd had my fun out of it and hadn't used it much for a while. I didn't want to carry a second car's insurance and other liabilities. It was replaced by Die Gelbe Gefahr in 2012 (a Prius is NOT a replacement for an Alfa Romeo Spider...!).

Not the same thing at all, really, but it suits me well now.

Nice! Fun car. I had one as well, until we traded it in for a Skoda on the arrival of our first daughter. Whenever I point one out to her, explain that I had one, and ask if we should get another, the answer is a firm yes.
