Yesterday, my wife and I went to a superb showing in downtown Seoul of a famous photographer's approx. 50 years of work. All B+W and not to be missed. Cameras are allowed inside too. The gallery name is Daelim Art Museum (http://www.daelimmuseum.org/), 02-720-0667). The exhibition is called "My Mother Homeland" and the photographer's name is Joo Myung Duk.
Very close by is another gallery called ryugaheon photograph's gallery (http://www.ryugaheon.com/, 02-720-2010). You should take it in too while you're in the neighborhood.
