Hello all. I have a box of TD-16 developer which I purchased from a retailer a couple of weeks ago that I was planning on mixing today. Problem is, I don't know what size kit I have! I threw away the cellophane which had the kit size written on it. The Packet A contents are marked as 10 grams, and the Packet B contents are marked as 408.4 grams.

I'm not sure if I have the 1, 4, or 8 liter kit. Silly me for throwing the box's label away. Can anyone help me out here? I assume I have the 1 liter kit, but don't know for sure.

TD-16 is their D-76 remake, right? A litre kit of D-76 weighs 110g going by the writing on the bag. So you'll have the 4l one - minor differences are explicable by differences in crystal water of some minor component, or by not needing a protector when doing a two- rather than a one-part kit, but they can't make the same formula weigh four times or half as much. Unless they use a main component with as much more or less crystal water - but given increased storage and shipping costs, and generally shorter shelf life of non-anhydrous kits, I don't think anybody would do that in a commercial kit.
