The Moon was full last night and I decided it was time to see how my $90 Sigma 600 mirror lens would do ...

I tried using a 500mm Rokinon mirror lens with my EM-5 and the EP-5, but the IQ was just not there.
I just got my EM-1 and I decided to take some shots of the moon with the Zuiko 50-200 ED 4/3 as well as adding the Olympus 1.4X teleconverter. The shots looked OK but appeared a bit blurry... Then I thought I'd try the little Oly 40-150 which is pretty inexpensive, but a fine lens IMHO. I also used the digital tele-converter feature of the EM-1.. Here is the shot, not cropped...

Not bad Godfrey. Lets see, 600mm, that's 6 X .9mm or 5.4mm diameter at the image plane. Much better than I have ever been able to do with my E-410 and a cheap 500mm f8 I picked up for $12. Found out why it was so cheap, sure I did.
