Another early morning spent perusing photos made a while ago. This is one of the photos I made while on travel to the Isle of Man in 2011.


Ricoh GXR-M + Nokton 40mm f/1.4 MC
ISO 200 @ f/5.6 @ 1/60 sec

My camera kit on that trip was the Ricoh GXR+A12 Camera Mount+EVF and Nokton 40, Color Skopar 21, M-Rokkor 90 lenses. I had a Skink pinhole lens with me too. It proved a very compact, very capable shooting kit, covered all the bases, and produced a lot of very nice results. I've only processed a smidgeon of what I shot from that trip so far...

I like this. The straps look like they could be holding up the photograph before it too is demolished. I like the minimalist aesthetic and the faint swirls and detail in the wall. The composition works. Nice shot.
