Very clever Godfrey, my pinholes are never at 1/250. In the past I found small format pinholes to be really lacking, but this one is pretty good.

Good point about small and large format pin-holes.
I'm getting very variable results using my Panasonic GF1. Seems some subjects come out rather better than others. Tried making my own pin-hole 'lens' and decided the results were no better or worse than the bought in one.
Come to the conclusion that this pin-hole business isn't as easy as it looks!

Yes, pinhole photography has a lot of subtleties to it. I'm still learning.
I find that learning to see pinhole takes some practice. Simple subjects with strong shapes and lines work best.
Small formats have issues with pinholes since the focal length and resolution are cross products of pinhole aperture and distance from the sensor. Fitting a Skink pinhole for FourThirds SLR onto an extension tube, and that onto a mount adapter, produces an approximately 70mm pinhole with good resolution on a Micro-FourThirds camera. It's hard to get the wide pinhole look out of small formats because the pinholes become so tiny there's little light to work with. FF 35mm is more successful ... medium and large format do even better. But there's room for all of it.

But no, this was made with a Skink Retro Pro Leica M pinhole kit, using the f/71 Zone Sieve disk supplied in the kit. Skink makes their pinhole system for many different mounts.
