Photo-thread: Car(s)

Gene that's a fantastic shot! Glad you decided to share it with us.

My shot: Peogeot 206 Convertible. I think I'd better run before all those rotten cabage and tomatoes start flying towards me.

:D

@Kris

:bang:

PS: after only 10 minutes looking at this photo, I've seen the car, and then I've noticed it's in fact a 307 and not a 206. But... if SHE says it's a 206, then it's a 206, sure :D

On my street, about 20min after I got home with the 15mm :)

FED3a - CV 15mm/4.5 - Agfa Ultra 100

Oscar, you're right! It's a 307CC not 206. I just realised it after looking at this shot below which you guys must have seen. If it were the 206 then there should be grills on the bonet.

Laika, the colour of that Agfa Ultra looks more intense than the famous Fuji Velvia 50. Did you increase saturation in PS or that really is the saturation of Ultra 100? I second Todd's comment: excellent use of super wide perspective.

Alright, no more this kind of photos!

I did "back off" the saturation a bit after I scanned (from print) it but looking at it again it could do with a bit tweaking, the grass and trees are a little more olive in the print, a bit less astroturf, glow in the dark looking :) ... but not a lot mind you, all the other colours look the same as the print. I'd say from my lab (fuji frontier) they print Ultra with as much or a little more saturation than Velvia. Depending on the situation it can look from very rich to over the top :D

Oscar, did you really look at the Peugeot for 10 minutes?

I guess one can do those things. It's an excellent, admirable, commendable shot! ;)

Well not exactly at the Peugeot itself :p

But wait ! I'm sure I have a Jaguar somewhere... or at least part of...

laika- love that old chevy--the 15mm perspective is just dreamy, as are the colors.

here's my car, and my vespa peeking out from behind it.

Jazz, that's a nice classic BMW there !

As promised, here's part of my (hah!) classic Jaguar.

Photo taken on a wedding (it was the bride car) with the back then recently received Fed2-Industar 26m on Delta 100.

Laika, that's a sweet looking 1954 Chevrolet!

And Jazz, I'm a little shaky on 70's models, but that looks like it might be a BMW 2002?

I don't take many car pics. Here's one...

Real Car This Time...

Real Car This Time...

Doug, nice M3. Is it yours? Now someone please post a picture of Volvo S60R because that's my dream car at the moment. :)

This time I post a real photo of a car. Which Alfa Romeo is this? Would have been better if it were a Jag or a Rolls or a Mercedes.

Expensive Car, Expensive Hotel. Nokton 50/1.5 on Delta 3200 @ 1600.

Jazzguy, you really exude Euroclass. A Bimmer 2002 and a Vespa? I left my keyboard slightly damp... That was my dream car. Heck, it's still my dream car!

Nice job, Oscar! That shot's a classic.

Keep them coming! :) I'm enjoying this thread. :D

Ok, if you guys are sooooo good - what car is it under the sheet in the first photo? :)

thanks for saying euroclass rather than eurotrash. my vehicles lack a lot of modern conveniences but give me lots of pleasure, sort of like my cameras.

i have no idea what's under the cover.

here's an unintentional double exposure of a ferrari taken with my kiev 4a.
