Photo-thread: Car(s)

Kris, Alfas are very cool, and that's a very sleek looking one. Years ago my dream car was a Giula GT coupe. I still like sporty coupes, so that's my green '99 M3.

Richard, I'd been wondering what's under that cover. The shape suggests a certain year-range of Chevrolet Monte Carlo or the equivalents from Olds or Buick, and there were some interesting hi-performance models available. I couldn't name the years, but the styling was sort of knife-edge, "formal' roof-line, maybe 1980's... Am I close?

@Francisco: Thanx ! It was a really really nice car.
@Kris: I think that's an Alfa GTV
@Doug: Nice M3 !
@Jazz: Nice Ferrari and nice double exp!
@Richard: Mustang ? Camaro ? Firebird ? :confused:

Die Hard car nut that I am, I'll say that's a Buick Grand National under the cover, possibly '87 with those rims. My friend has a Chevy Monte Carlo SS from '87 and the rims don't look similar. Just my two cents worth. P.S. Airshow in town this weekend and a new Fed 5, two Fed 2's and a Zenit B to try out, woo hoo.

Richard, the shape gives it away as one of the GM luxury-compacts of the 80s (to me). I can't pin it down with a brand, but I feel tempted to agree with Doug in that it's a GM car. It looks like the same platform of the Buick Regal from what I can see...

So here's the sad revelation - I have no idea what's under that sheet. It was a photo I snapped in for maybe 4 years ago.

Guess we will never really know - although I think the Buick guess is really good and something I would second.

LOL, good one, Richard! But I think our guesses are good. A brother-in-law had a Buick Grand National -- while I only saw it once I think it might fit ok under that cover. :D

i was going to guess buick but i thought i would be way off. until i read all of your responses. monte carloish thing.
