Ran across them via a blog link tonight, seems very cool - a portrait studio making tintypes and ferrotypes in SF. Definitely booking a sitting if I get to head back to SF this summer.

I figure it will be tough for them to survive with San Francisco rent, but I hope they do.

My wife, daughter and I had our tintype portrait made at Rayko this year. They make it a very cool process, letting you watch how the final image is prepared. And the portrait is fascinating! It has that turn of the century look without even trying! 🙂
