Photobucket has lost the plot!

I used photobucket because the one thing good about it was they allowed a lot of pictures, a true bucket.
The people who run it are not all there. I found that two thirds of the people directed to my folder thought there was nothing in it because they hadn't realised you click on the arrow on the left to browse the directory. The slideshow button is there but not implemented for months.

Damn ... I installed ad blocker into firefox but unfortunately it causes a few other issues so have had to disable it.

Not that Wikipedia is a totally reliable source of info ... but this is on their info page about Photobucket:

In February 2013, Photobucket launched its new Beta website which radically altered the operation of major features within the website and omitted many other features which had been present in the original website. Feedback from users on the Photobucket support forums has been almost universally negative, with many people threatening to close their Premium accounts in favor of using other image hosting websites.[citation needed]

Photobucket has advised users that they cannot switch back to the old site. Instead, Photobucket has posted on its support forums lists of "coming soon" features and "missing features"

Hmmmm. I've not noticed any problems with mine. What was happening?

I went to view a vimeo video clip the other day and it virtually refused to play. It was downloading very slowly and kept juddering. Disabled ad blocker and it was fine. Youtube clips are ok though!

I can't seem to find any settings in ad blocker?

I meant to ad that although I like firefox I have had trouble with video streaming before after one of their updates.

Single most frustrating difference for me is their new maximum 1024-pixel size for hotlinked photos. That alone's going to stop me using it. Because, with the size of screens these days, I feel some of my street stuff has to be 1200-1300 pixels wide to work.

The new interface is mind-bogglingly annoying and counterintuitive, too- not to mention buggy. Adios, Photobucket.

I'm not at home at the moment so can't check but I think there should be a red (I think) button added to the right of the search bar. Could be labeled "AB" or "ABP". Clicking on that should give you a menu with 'options'.
