I've seen this before. Very good. Like adji jo said, "Why didn't I think of this?!"
I think we just forget how to get down on the floor and play like a little child.

I looked, but failed to find anything ironic in any of the whimsy.

The best camera is one that still works!
There's a Japanese sculptor who does amazing work with bent nails and burnt timber ... can't remember who he is though!
Great photos ... thanks for the link.

They all looked iron to me ... that working girl in particular looked as hard as, well, nails

EB: "You have absolutely no idea what irony is, have you Baldrick?"
B: "Yes I have. It's just like steely and goldie, 'cept it's made of iron"

not only that, I stole the other bit too
[to Gromit, after he escapes from jail with the help of Wallace and the sheep]
Wallace: I suppose you'll have to skip the country, now. A fugitive, ay? You'll be hunted down like... well, a dog.

Lovely !
I'm working my way through a very good book on Steichen (Lives in Photography) and it has a section on his still lives. It seems he at one point spent 2 years working indoors to improve his composition. That, and this gallery, are eye-openers to me: how little do we need to make great photos !
Peter.

Great work, though I did find the sudden introduction of colour quite jarring and much preferred the b&w treatments.

Wow. I wish I was creative ( sigh ).
As a former theatrical scenery carpenter, I certainly had my own effect on thousands of nails, but never this artfully !
The great American cartoonist, illustrator, and social commentator Walt Kelly ("Pogo") once said, "There is great delight in the unexpected", when describing his approach to his work.
The color shots remind me of a "Wallace & Gromit" world. ( Aardman rules ! )
I imagaine some wanker could make a 300-level college course on "the symbolism of the nail vs the screw"...
Thanks for sharing !
