Photographica Fair, Houten (NL), 13 Nov 2011

To bad i had to miss it. Sinterklaas was coming to town ;o) Maybe next year. Would be nice to meet some RFFers.

Luckily I could spend a little more than two years ago since I found a camera that was for long years at my 'wishlist'. This ones shutter is tip-top and is hard to find in this condition and complete. So I plan to take some pictures with it (this is the 9 x 12 version):

wow, man! May i ask how much it cost?
lemme know if u get bored of it :)

Missed it :bang:

Spent most of the day in bed.
Too optimistic about the flu.

Oh well, ther's always march? 2012

Guess you could buy a nice (mint) M4 or a used M6 for the price I paid, but already have enough 35mm gear...and my little "museum" was in for something 'new'..and as said, this was already on the wishlist for quite some years....

Missed this thread but was at Houten, with my own table no less. Anyone here who took a picture of me with my Summicron DR on his M2?

Had a good time, sold most of my stuff that actually had some value left in it, found a very nice Yashica Mat 124 for a friend, bought a 52mm IR filter and a roll of Efke 35mm IR film and got a cheap MD-10 grip for my cheap F90x from 'Marktplaats'. It works! I also handed over my M2 with its misaligned RF over to Will (van Manen) and Cathy, together with the new cameraleather covering. All in all not bad!

Btw, I was wearing a black sweatshirt with old cameras on it, but you also might have noticed my car :D

You don't say, your own table!

You didn't speak to a guy wearing a black hat by any chance? :D

You guys are killing me! I've posted about our local (i.e. Boston area) camera show several times over the years and I don't even get many views, let alone posts! Meanwhile, you're meeting up with half of RFF-NL, and narrowly missing the other half. That's the way to go.

I got to check this one (or Doesberg) out for myself some day.

To be honest, I found Doesburg even more fun. But I'm a sucker for historic town centres like at Doesburg. The setting there is just perfect!

Sort of a shame I apparently met several RFF-ers without knowing it, I would 've liked to put some more faces to names! We need RFF T-shirts or something :D

I agree, Doesburg market is more attractive, what with the historical backdrop....if it ain't raining ;)

So if this one isn't held in Houten next March, where is it going to be?

Hmmm RFF T-shirts.

Great reading... Would've been an excellent chance to meet up with my fellow Dutch RFF mates. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it again. Went to Friesland instead. My grandsons (4 and 2) phoned last Saturday evening to let us know we HAD to see them, for obvious reasons a command we couldn't disobey. Anyway, I was broke anyhow, as Saturday morning I bought a nice Leica IIIb and two Summitars from a photofriend in Germany.

Doesburg is great, BUT the last few years it has been held at the same weekend as the Lowlands festival. I know I must be the only guy that wants to go to both, but I simply cannot skip Lowlands.

I haven't been to Lowlands since 2000 I think, but I'm more of a heavy metal person myself. Really need to go to the M'era Luna festival again, one of these days......with a proper camera this time....
