I'd like to hear everyone's take on the best way to photograph a person who isn't with us anymore. I lost my best friend and room mate last year during my 3rd year of school as a photography student at RIT, and since his disappearance I've shot non stop. A lot of the imagery that came together during his absence was symbolic and even spiritual, though I don't consider myself the most spirit based individual. I'm including a photo of him and photos from the series, but I really just wanted to ask people here: How do you photograph or visually remember people you've lost? Thanks in advance.

Andy
