Photographing the Photographer... post yours

First time my daughter has shot film, my first roll in a RF645.

This is cool, Shawn! I always dig it when I see that people can convince kids to try out film. And the XA seems like a good kid camera, being able to retreat into its plastic shell, but still no joke optically/functionally. Let us know how your daughter finds the whole film process.

I don't have kids, but I have nieces getting to about the age to start photography. I'll have to see what sort of subversive film introductory behavior my brother will let me attempt with them!

p.s. Nice shot with the 645.

Loads in London. I like this one. I was watching this woman for a short while. She seemed to have a good eye, and mastery of her camera, shooting with confidence. I think this captures the feeling we all get when we know we've got a corker of a shot.

On the bridge in St James's Park, snapshooters often block the way. From this angle, this photographer looks as though he has a ridiculous hairstyle, with large curls on the top of his close-cropped head. That's because he had.
