This is me holding my friend's M-6 with 35mm Summicron and loaded with Tri-X. He made the photo using my Zeiss Ikon with 35mm Biogon and loaded with Neopan 400. We simply traded cameras for a while and photographed each other. It has been many years but still about the only photographs we have of ourselves. (photo made in Trinidad, Cuba)
An old one from the archives. One of photographers at the Acropolis in Athens circa1971. They used a paper negative which was developed inside the camera, then taken out and photographed to get a positive. I regret not getting my portrait done holding the Leica.
I was a combat photographer in 1969 in South Vietnam. After a fight, a tanker with the 1st of the 4th Cavalry, took this photo with a Polaroid. I was in South Vietnam for a year and this is the only photo I have of myself with a camera.
