Hey guys!
I am looking for a set of backdrop, grey or black. Where do you get backdrops nowadays? I know it is not too trendy nowadays... Recommendations?

http://backdropoutlet.com/ has lots and lots and lots...
But I've ordered a hand-painted muslin one in early February and still haven't heard back from them except that they've received the order and they've been spamming me with junk mail since then.

I mostly use Savage seamless background paper rolls for a black or grey background, but if you want an actual cloth background, years ago I used to buy from a company called Rose Brands (IIRC). They sold "industrial" fabrics in large sizes. They had something called commando cloth that we used to use. It really absorbs light well.

Expect to spend a little more than $200.00 for a one roll set-up.
I bought these ceiling hangars from B&H made by "Impact." This was recommended to me from a friend, Mike, who is a fashion photographer. Mike also recommended making sure you buy the "Varidrive" that comes with a metal chain. Someone he knows bought the version with the plastic chain and it broke almost immediately.
I would suggest a white background should also be considered. Vinyl rolls are of a different length than paper rolls, and paper rolls are less expensive.
The nice thing about the Impact brand is cost, but also realize it is kinda modular to build out.
