I'm waiting for one of these people to do something along the lines of "10 photography blogs that really don't deserve my time" but then again they couldnt possibly face putting themself on the list 🙂
How is the monochrome useless? It serves a purpose and fills a market need last time I looked.

The article does not say it's useless, only that we 'don't need' it, which is true enough.
I like the Monochrom, it's probably the only Leica digital I would ever buy, but I don't kid myself that it's needed, or that the pictures it makes are notably different to any other full frame camera.

C'mon guys, it's a lighthearted look at gadgetry in current photography.
And how many of us here are actually in practical agreement: I certainly am more likely to use the alternative he recommends than an M Monochrom.
