Over the 4th my wife and I were in Omaha Nebraska and when in the city we always visit the Joslyn Museum. This time there is a major Edward Weston show of images that I had never seen. i would guess there were around 75 or more original prints and about a dozen original 8x10 Kodachrome transparencies. These images were on the way to the dumpster when the grand nephew or Edwards saved them. Also there is a sports photography exhibit going back to the beginning of photography. I'm not a sports fan but these were stunning images. I particularly love the images from the twenties through the forties. These guys shot sports with press cameras and 4x5 sheet film. They were true masters shooting one frame at a time with sheet film and flash bulbs.
The show is well worth checking out if in the area.
