A very nice image Erik, I like the small details that date this image like the hair style or the shirt collar of the guy or the old fashioned seats of the train (?).

Escaped to Key Largo for a few days in August 2017, a week before Hurricane Irma hit. Was over 104ºF during the day and the beaches and marinas were empty. Waded out into the bay and took this with a Nikon S2 & 35mm f1.8 on film that I think got too hot before it got processed. I like the weird way the colors went and the peaceful feeling it gives.

Cameras Guitars Wonders
My wife Sandra Morgen three weeks before her death in fall 2016–always smiling for the camera. This was at the wedding of our daughter’s BFF since age 3; Sandi was supposed to officiate but could no longer walk or stand unaided, yet insisted on making the trip.
They gave us a room where she could rest before the ceremony. Our son the winemaker lies beside her, deeply depressed but determined to be with her and help.
A few minutes later, I made this photograph of them before the short but fatiguing walk to the ceremonial area. Normally I stick to BW, but the powdery blues were so soft. West light, just north of the Columbia River outside Mount Hood.
And this, not the last portrait I made of her, but just minutes later on the same day—it allowed me to be reflected in her sunglasses. Emaciated, alert, her hair luxurious in the light.
Perhaps some of us may be lucky and determined enough to be at a lovely sentimental wedding just before we go.

Our daughter in her happy place...she started riding at 8 years old...she'll be 29 next month...she's maybe 14 here...
I love that I got to spend all those many hours at the barn and horse shows watching her ride...
Horses are still her Passion and you see that whenever she's around them...
She says this is her favorite photo from the barn and that makes me happy...its mine too...
