My FTb had some shutter issues on this roll, and the D76 turned out to be a little too old, but these came out "OK". Lenses were an old chrome nose FD 50 1.4 and a FD S.C. 135 2.5. HP5 in D76 full strength, shot w/ a yellow filter, 8 minutes at 68 degrees (gave it an extra minute due to the oldish developer). HP5 usually comes out a lot smoother than this in my D76, but the old developer added a lot of grain and subtracted a lot of tonality. Scanned on an old Epson 2450 flatbed. Very little sharpening applied, these are just good, old FD lenses.

Old developer,old camera, old film.
The results as far as i can see are great!
The Canon FD lenses are rally nice.
i was given the later models of AE-1P etc.
i realized as i shot side by side with my Leica-M,
the differences were there but not in favor of my M!
Again great photos.

Thanks. This old Canon FD glass really is good. Some of it is better than others. The 3-D like shot of the little oranges was wide open from my FD 135 2.5 lens (otherwise known as "the beer can"). I've listed it for sale several times because it's a bit of a handful to go out with, but every time I've looked at the shots from it I've killed the ads. I have a T90 coming and it will probably handle better on that tank. The chrome nose 50 1.4 is a totally different sort of lens (all the other shots were from it, I think). It's low contrast, and soft at 1.4, but makes beautiful images wide open anyway. My problem w/ the Canon FD stuff is that I like the Nikon film bodies a lot more, and you can't adapt the FD lenses to other bodies, at least not for less than a king's ransom. But once I get this FTb straightened out it's a keeper, and it and the T90 should be all I'll ever need for these two lenses. I have a later Canon A that a wonderful forum member sent me, but it's very different to shoot compared to the older cameras.

It's just amazing how cheap the FD and FL lenses are, and that's possibly because they can't be easily adopted to other bodies. Some of the earlier R glass is even better. I had an R 100 2.0 that was simply amazing.
