The III's menu is more mature than the I (I skipped the II) but from what I've played with it (only two weekends worth to date) I still like it. Solid meaningful improvements in functionality and flexibility.

Were these converted to B&W in post processing? From RAW? Or were they done in camera?

There's a small group of folks over here that love the GRDs. It's good that the P&S forum is a fun place to share.

I've got the 28mm CV Black Metal Bright line finder on my III and a 75mm finder on my GX100 (I mostly use it on 72mm). Have you tried any finders on her yet?

Welcome to one of the best places on the Net to share, learn, ask and have fun.

the buttons are bit small for my fat fingers but can't complaint - quick access to aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposures (and easily customized). There are lots more bonus features yet to explored further...

i prefer to process my RAW picts in big screen with lightroom. The in-camera B/W jpeg are great too, there's options to adjust the brightness/contrast/etc in the camera.

Not tried any finders yet. When i'm doing street with GRD, i compose the pict in my head. The objects come and go faster than GRD able to react, so the camera is always set to high ISO and pre-focused. Even so i missed half the shots...

With the GRD I, I used snap mode all the time. Have to play with Snap on the III that I can set the distance. I did not have a lot of miss focused stuff before. I learned to trust DOF with my Bessa L and CV 25/4 combo.
