Thank you for the comments. Actually, Northern Iraq (or Kurdistan) seems quite safe, and the people here are very friendly. These are quick shots with a 40mm using a 35mm framelines. It works well, but sometimes I think, "If only I had a 35 instead." The main problem shooting here -- if you want to look at it that way -- is that once someone notices you taking pictures, impromptu portrait sessions follow. The place does have a great atmosphere for street shooting, though, and the countryside surrounding the cities is quite beautiful. Thanks again for looking.
