Photos from my first roll

Personally, I like the subject matter. I mean, I would rather look at the inside of a janitor's closet any day instead of another freaking owl or barn. The one of the floor waxer is pretty terrific. It would have been nice if you could have gotten the waxer in sharper focus and the background more blurred...but it's tricky indoors, with no flash, on a shutter-priority camera.

I love that camera BTW. I've had mine for two weeks and it's like the best thing ever.

There's a lack of inhibition in those shots that's great ... enjoy the camera and keep posting pics. 🙂

Way to go, Mouse!

You're gonna have lots of fun with the Canonet! I've got a handful of different ones, and they're nice machines. I do the same thing...wander around taking pictures of whatever's at hand. I've got a good picture of a mop in my gallery...

Ya ought to try some BW film, too. I buy Arista from Freestyle.com, and soup it myself. Easy to do, and adds another dimension to your photography.

Regards!
Don

Though I confess to photographing a few barns in my day, actually.

No owls though! Never!!!!

Or bowls of fruit by a window!!

I don't think I could bring myself to photographing a bowl of fruit. Unless it struck me in some way.

Same with a barn, it would have to have a certain look, it would have to have some character.

And thank you for the input on the photos. 😀

Random shots are my thing. I like unplanned, they've got more life. And i've been wanting to try some black and white film. I have a friend that might give me hers because she hasn't had time to use it.
