Hi all. I just wanted to share some photos I took with my M6 recently on a three week trip to Asia (Japan, Korea and Taiwan). I pretty much stayed on the 35mm Summicron the whole time. Please enjoy!
TOKYO

Sumo wrestler on a bike.

Perfectly natural in Tokyo.

Outside the police station, the Paparazzi wait amongst their ladders for the decisive moment.
KYOTO

I was attending a filmmakers lab in Kyoto and part of the lab was to shoot a short samurai film. Here in the workshop on the Shochiku film lot, a technician creates samurai hair pieces.

Samurai hair room.

Wall of toys but no change.

Incense at Kyomizu Temple, Kyoto.
KOREA

It's not easy being the bride.

Picture perfect. Even in the midst of the ceremony, the attendants flit and float around to make sure every moment is picture perfect. Of course, that means that they are also in almost every shot.
TAIWAN

Mopeds everywhere.

After and before. Street market in Nei Hu, Taipei.

I like most of them. I like the ones, like the first and the second that show regular things but with a very japanese aspect to them. Is that a sumo wrestler on a bike? Rather than just cliche japanese stuff it shows a cool and unique aspect of the culture. The wig shop is also pretty awesome.
