Nikormats are fiddly. Gave up on them and started with F2. Counted my F2 collection yesterday and it is six cameras, two are latest AS, some have plain prisms, two have prisms with CDS cells. DP1 and DP2 I think.

I just bought another Nikkormat EL body; I now own two. It's not fiddly at all.
The EL series cameras have a conventional shutter speed dial up on the top deck.

It is a terrific camera, every bit as well-made as Nikon pro models of the time.
I look forward to making some time to use it.
