Hmm.. now why didn't that work?

How about this.

Drat.. it used to work. Anyway, you need to get the picture address, yours is just a link to the web. I forget how to do it exactly.

Wow. That was fast, and neat. How do you do it? I can't work out how the new URL is formed.

But, I actually wanted the photo in the post, not popping up in a new window.

Oh. In here, image code is turned off.

What you want is to type [ img ] and then at the end of the url type [ /img ] without any of the spaces between the brackets. You also want to right click on the image and 'copy image location'.

Thank you Stephanie, that's very clear.

But what I really want is:

--start

words words words

a photo

words words words

end --

Since the photo is in the gallery already I'd like to link to it and have it show right inside the post, either that or upload it from my iMac, or link to it at my website, but still have it right in the post.

I'm getting stuck with that with a one button (Mac) mouse. When uo say 'right click on the image' do you mean the actual photo on my site? Or the URL to the image in my post?

On a Mac, right-click is done with ctrl-click (keep the ctrl-button pressed while clicking the mouse)

Good luck

Done it in another RFF forum.

Go to the image and 'CTRL' and click and selct 'Copy this image' then go yo Post Reply and look for the little icon like mountains and click it (not present in feeback forum) and paste the image link into the pop up box.

I just did iit in W/NW Contentment thread.

Thank you both for your help.

if you look at the bottom of this page you will see that it states that IMG (and HTML) code is turned off. It is on in some forums and off in some.

Hence - trying out HTML and IMG tags in the Feedback forum may not be the best idea.

Aha.. that's why mine didn't work with the img tags!
