My wife spotted some white tail deer on our neighbors yard, so I grabbed the K100D with kit lens and upped the ISO to 3200 and stepped onto our snowy porch steps in my socks and managed to grab a couple of snaps with very high noise and blur here:

This was one of those times you wish you had a fast Canon or Nikon DSLR with super zoom lens!

I've now got the camera ready in AF off mode, wide open, and know I have a tripod around somewhere!

Maybe high noise and blur - but still rather evocative, which is rather more to the point. I'm glad you told the story and showed us the results.

P.S. the weather seems rather different from the sweaty summer's day we're having here!
