A few symbolic still life photos from the home of the folks who so kindly put me up the first few days I was on the Isle of Man this year. They run a sheep farming business.

Hmm, no. The races aren't until either June (TT Week) or late August (Manx GP). I was there to attend a wedding this year, my friends' son's.

Godfrey - I would never have thought to select any of these items for a still life, whether photographed or painted. So why do I find these photos of yours so very attractive? Stunning really.

Sadly, I have no sheep photo to contribute to the thread. You'd think I would, but I don't. However, I DO have a recent old goat photo (no, not that type of old goat). Close enough? He was not very up on the outdoor fair concept, and had decided that where he sat was where he was going to continue to sit.
