Micro-Nikkor 5cm 1:3.5 is a tremendous lens as I expected. I believe this tiny, beautiful lens beat the other commercial 135 format lenses when it first released in 1956.

Adding a mirror box and you leap to 1:1 with a 50mm lens. No continuous focussing to half life size, as you get with an SLR. Explanation, please.

Using an Amedeo adapter allows you to focus closer than the RF coupling will allow, in which case you can use Liveview or a detachable EVF.

They tend to sell in the $1200-2000 range. Very high resolving lenses.

Compensating for parallax is the norm for sure.

Nikon made these RF Micro-Nikkors in Nikon RF mount and in LTM. The LTM version is very rare, and sells for more than $2000.

Copy stand. The lens is attached to the copy stand in the recessed position (an extra accessory is then attached to control the aperture comfortably). The camera sits on top with a swing mechanism. You can preview the image on ground glass, then move the camera into position to make the exposure. Zeiss had produced a similar product for the Contax cameras.

Hi,
a while ago, I found a mint 5cm f3.5 Micro-Nikkor lens head for sale missing the mounting parts so had it adapted to Leica M with RF coupling .

No close-focusing mechanism, but you could look for the Voigtlander 50mm f/3.5. An S-mount version is in the classifieds now actually. I like mine a lot. Very, very sharp.
