Fuji X-Pro1 and Skink pinhole lens.
BTW, if you are using a Skink or other pinhole on a digital camera, what are you using for a lens cap. Terrible sensor dust problem with the hole open constantly. Thanks.

Chicago! My old stomping ground (but 37 years ago).
I am curious about the pictures as they appear on my laptop. They have the look of film grain. Do they just come out of the camera that way? Sorry but I very limited knowledge of digital. I shoot pinhole on 4X5 using photo paper (because I'm cheap) and home made pinholes. Still, I like the effect, especially the halos around the lights. Thanks for posting these.

Appreciate your comments. No, no grain or noise added. I've used this lens on my M9 and Nex 7, but I like the look of the Fuji files it best. To me it has the most natural looking digital BW output. They are converted pretty straight in Silver Efex Pro, where the border and a little vignetting and toning are added.
I like the second one best - the old, abandoned, and massive Chicago post office.

Yeah, that was my favorite too, because of the halo around the lights, They provide a focal point that draws your eye into the scene. The gray dull look reminds me of winter days when I roamed the city with a Miranda D mounting a 50 f1.9 and a bag of Tri-X.

Pleased to see all three but like the third one best - at least because of the people. Was surprised at that grainy effect but goes well with the size of photo.

I picked up a Nikon pinhole and a Hasselblad pinhole body cap (http://www.pinholeresource.com/index.php/all-products/pinhole-digital-no-dust-body-caps)
from Eric Renner at Pinhole Resource. Great guy, the Guru of Pinhole!

Very nice photos!
I use the Skink set with both Oly PenD and Sony A7. I mostly use the Zone Plate discs but haven't worried about dust at all.

Those are really awesome shots, John. I particularly love the first and third one. Almost all of my photography is pinhole nowadays, and I never get tired of it. Keep posting please!

Thank you, Andrea. Really appreciate your comment.
daveleo, no, I still have not found a solution. I remove the lens right away when not using it. And when in use I try to keep the hole covered. But I still get a huge amount of dust.

what?
I had a skink designed for Nikon F-mount and it had a lens cap / filter thread. I traded it for a skink designed for Fuji-X and this one does not have such a thread.
Kind of a pain, you know.
