I received my repaired Contax II and Sonnar F2 collapsible from Henry Scherer in January (2014) and these are from the first roll.

When I get my IIIc back from 'hospital' and put on the Sonnar F1.5 LTM it's going to be a tough choice.

Got around to running a roll of Rollei Retro 80S film through my Contax II with the 85mm f/2 Sonnar. Haven't found a good viewfinder for it so some of the compositions were skewed.. :(

Oundle School, Churchyard 2014 Contax ll by knjy, on Flickr

Morning Lessons Oundle School 2014 Contax ll by knjy, on Flickr

Two shots taken with my F2.0 50mm uncoated Sonnar fitted to a restored Contax ll and demonstrate good exposure consistency across the middle speeds. I enjoyed taking this with me for a short visit to Oundle and Cromer at the weekend.

While the Contax ll is not a Leica M6 it is an infinitely better camera to use than the Leica 11 111 series. Before the Leicaphiles kick off, I fully recognise that the M3 changed the game completely and i have owned a Leica ll, two M2's, an R3 and now an M6 - the latter you would have to wrench from my hands.

From a recent purchase, Welta Weltur with Delta 3200, boy is it small for a 6x6 ! (Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f2.8,75mm)

Just want to resurrect an old thread so I can see more pre-war Zeiss Shots! Anybody have more to add?

Here's one from My ICA Polyscop with Zeiss Tessars built in 1925 (stereocamera with sequentially numbered 90mm lenses)

Thanks. The three photos were taken this summer in Camogli, Italy. It is located close to Portofino and to Genova. I expected the special light and colors there, so I took along the Sonnar.

I use the 5cm 1.5 mainly for portraits, but it is also great for contrasty scenes that require a lower contrast lens to manage handling it all.

I just picked up a contax I with broken shutter for cheap, that has a 1934 Jena Sonnar 50 1.5 on it. I can't wait to put it on my M2 with the Amedeo adaptor. I love uncoated lenses. Curious how it will perform against my Cron Rigid and Collapsible Cron. Maybe I will do a real world comparison test.
