The color is one of my personally developed Lightroom presets ... It jiggers the HSL tables to give me a limited color palette that just hits the numbers for my eyes. I'm glad to hear others like it too!
The 'Lux 35mm V2 is quite a fascinating lens. You can dial in the level of softness and flare you want with the aperture ring ... wide open, it's soft and flarey but with lovely definition inside the softness and flare, like a Zeiss Softar filter. Stop it down to f/2.8-f/4, and it becomes razor sharp and contrasty. Another bit of Walter Mandler genius...
