Photoshop Cold Tone - How?

Quick question.

I scan my black and white negatives and print them digitally. I am trying to find a tone that comes close to what I used to get with Forte Polygrade 5 in the darkroom. I would describe that as a cool to cold tone.

I have experimented with the Hue settings and have made the image cooler than the standard (which is slightly warm). However, it doesn't really match a true cool tone fiber print. For those who use Photoshop (I use Photoshop Elements), can you offer any advise as to what settings you use to achieve a cool/cold tone?

If it matters, the inputs are:
Film: Tri-X
Scanner: Nikon 5000 ED
Software: Nikon Scan
Process: Scan as 16 bit greyscale
Manipulate in Photoshop Elements
Printer: HP 8450

You might want to try duo/tri/quad toning in photoshop. You can get from warm to neutral to cold tones. See here for intstructions:http://www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=23

This would be a very good suggestion...IF I had the full Photoshop. I just have Photoshop Elements and it doesn't have this full duotone functionality.

What I am looking for is probably some combination of settings of Hue and Saturation.

There are sites on the web which seem to give approx settings for Sepia tone...but what I want is cool/cold tone and I am having trouble perfecting it.
