I have had CS2 for some time now and just bought the CS4 Upgrade for my new I-MAC. Just wondering how many of you use CS4 and how do you like the way it works with creating black and white files from the raw M8 files.

CS4 works great with converting files to black and white. Camera Raw works very well and has a lot of options even before you go into photoshop. I would recommend it.

Haven't really used it, prefer using Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro.

I second Silver Efex Pro. One of the best Photoshop plug-ins I've ever used. Color Efex isn't too bad either.

Silver Efex Pro is fantastic with PS CS.
But using Camera raw also works great. What I like about the Silver Efex Pro is the grain it makes.

Another vote here for silver Efex. I love it.
Here are a few conversions I did last night from a little documentary project I've been doing on a local community theater.
These, I believe, were done as Kodak plux x 125. I know some folks don't care for the film emulators. But I'm enjoying them, at least for now.

I also like "Imagenomic" which is able to produce some very good results. Silver Efex Pro is loaded on to my CS4 and also very effective.
