Well I had a bit of extra cash and now the FSU GAS fairy has struck so I bid and won a Zorki 4 with I-22 on ebay. I won it for $37.50 from a USA seller and it looks nice and the seller says all is well with the shutter, rf, etc.

Even found a case for $15 from another seller and picked up a cap from Fedka.com for the I-22. Now I am looking for a hood...

Anyone have any warnings about the Zorki I should know about?

Probably shouldn't have bought it.... now I am going to want a J-9 & J-12 in LTM :D

Congrats!!! I don't know any specifics on your new camera but am always happy for anyone that gets a new one and such a good deal. :D I do know that they are beautiful cameras!

Got lucky with finding a hood, cost me $26 shipped from collectiblecameras.com but much cheaper than a Leitz Fikus, and cooler looking IMHO...:D

The description said it was an A36 "Home Made" hood, looks pretty good to me, wish I knew who made it.

Be prepared to make some interesting experiences when it comes to framing.......
I have 3 of those and they are nice to handle, with contrasty RF patches.
Don't forget to post some results!
Best regards!

The only warning with the Zorki 4 is, as with all slow-speed equipped FSUs - NEVER set the speed, or try to, until you've cocked it. Framing isn't overly accurate but the VF is big, bright and roughly life-size.
