I think you can send a picture, as long as it's hosted on a website (like the gallery, or photo.net). No apparent ability to upload a picture from one's computer.

i should have been more clear.
i thought a pic could be hosted and sent but i was trying to avoid the work involved. (also i have never done it that way and did not want to learn tonite)

i was looking for an easy way.

If the picture is already hosted, it is easy: just drop the URL of the hosted picture into the text box, highlight it (left-click and swipe), and then click on the square yellow snapshot icon, the one with the mountains. PM recipient receives a full-sized live picture, not a link.

If your picture isn't hosted, though, you're shit out of luck. This board software apparently will not permit uploading to PM from one's computer.
