Picture a day for 8 years of aging - living life faster

Artist Jonathan Keller has taken a picture of himself in the same position every day for 8 years and plays it back at warp speed. The result is a time lapse photo of a young man in his 20s turning into a 30-something. He plans to continue every day of his life until the last. This is quite a project. I was going to take a picture a day of my daughter, starting 22 years ago, but not in the same position. Just a pic a day. I accidentally exposed the first roll of film by opening the camera back before rewinding. I took this as a sign from Above that such project was not a good idea and ceased. However I still have many photos of my daughter growing up. Just not a pic a day.

Hi Tuolumne, I would like to say thanks too for the post. Maybe it's not original, but nontheless, a very commendable piece of work. The dedication and discipline is definitely admirable.
 
What he needs to do is to arrange for post-mortem photography so that he can still get photos taken, say, up to 10 years after his demise.

It would be interesting to watch him decomposing.
 
Indeed, I thought about doing something like this for my kids, but I barely have the discipline and control to get mountains of laundry done and meals cooked, let alone a photo a day. As it is, I now have to bribe my kids just to get them to stand still while I take a picture every few days. Cool project, thanks for posting.

A bit sick, but I have to admit that would be fascinating. They often have CGI versions of this on shows like CSI and Bones but the real thing would be pretty astonishing.
