Pictures from St Paul

Have some pictures from the convention, and from the activity on the streets. Outdoors mostly the new 28 f2.8, indoors the 90 f4. Mixed in with some commentary that is OT for RFF, I imagine. Took lots more pictures than this, but it has been an exhausting few days, and haven't the energy to post more of them. Maybe after I get home.

It really did not require that much bravery, the police in Minnesota were all quite friendly, and despite the gas masks I saw, I never got more than a whiff of teargas. Or perhaps you were talking about a different kind of bravery? 🙂

To bring this back to a more RFF friendly discussion, let me note that I had one let-down from my 28mm Elmarit (the new one). I had set a shutter speed to match my aperture (f8) but once or twice I looked down at the lens and noticed that the aperture was bumped up a couple of stops, to f11 or f16. The ring on the 28 seems noticeably looser than that on some other of my lenses.

There has been advice about what to do to loosen a tight aperture ring, but has there been any about tightening a loose one?
