Photos were all over - close-ups, mids, 15 ft to infinity and it performed admirably. Just what I had been wanting. Mind you this is a quick 12 exp. roll of Fuji Quality ll ASA 100 but I am more than satisfied. I still need to try portraits close-up and wide-open to see how this lens behaves but I am optimistic based on these shots. Thanks to all who helped. Let me know what you think.

Those are nice shots, Tony. I particularly found the close-in headstone shot well done and moving. Looks like you got a nice sample of that lens. What film were you using?

For that particular test I used Fuji Quality ll 12 exposures and ASA 100. Nice film but I really like Superia better. I was quite pleased, at the Golden Gate Cemetery I shot the 3 photos at 3, 5 and 15 feet and it focused right on and the bokeh was nice except wide-open at 3 feet, that was kind of harsh to my eyes. BTW, I received my generic hood and step-up ring(40 - 43) from heavy2stars and it is great and screws easily and looks super. It is a strong metal, black, vented and tilted and doesn't intrude into the VF much, thanks for that tip!!

"Flim? You want flim?"
Nice shots, but the third one, wide open left my eyes wandering over the shot looking for the sharpness that shows what you were focusing on. Maybe because the size of the image was too small for my weak eyes. I should be able to focus... I haven't been drinking today. Yet.
