Leica LTM Pictures taken with the Leica I (A).

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
They are very simple. The most important thing is the lens.

Important too are the three screws that fix the lens to the body. They are screwed into the aluminium of the housing. This aluminium is quite soft, so the threads in the aluminium are easily damaged.

It is easy to replace the curtains and the ribbons.

I love seeing these. I've often thought a second model O Serie repro would make a great pocket camera, and then I come to my senses.

Thank you.

I would love to have the model 0, but I am afraid that I will forget to close the lens when I advance the film.

When you have a fine working I with a clean lens you have a nice camera.

Like Cartier-Bresson you'll have to study Zen archery to be able to take pictures without thinking.

I've said this before. Erik, your images are truly exceptional. Always wondering if you have to do a lot of Photoshop work to get scratches and dust removed. I need to do that with almost all my negs.
