Pinhole Agfa

First serious roll from my converted Agfa Record. (See HERE)
.35mm pinhole, 40mm fl, porta 400NC, 6x9

I've got a definite light leak from the red window. I've had this problem with every folding camera I've used in the desert. There's just too darn much light to open that window long enough to advance the film.
Anyway... a couple turned out pretty well. The last one here shows how bad the light leak can be. I also think I'm getting reflections from interior metal pieces.

Mostly it is black...
The shutter retaining ring is silver and I used aluminum tape to mount the pinhole itself.
I'll paint them and hope.
I really don't think they'd be a problem if it weren't for that huge light leak.

This is a neat idea, though, and something I pondered, but I ended up liking my Agfa folder too much to gut it. I'm looking now for something else to gut. 😀

Well, this old Agfa wasn't going to do much in the condition it was in, so it seemed a good sacrifice.
I've got another project in the works using parts from a graflex xlsw to give me interchangeable backs...just waiting for a couple of parts.

I thought about buying a beater Graphic and restoring it as a project, but I'm lazy nowadays. I'm getting rounder and rounder in the tummy as the days go by. I think the most I'm going to do now is create a 4x5 pinhole out of popcicle sticks, black foam rubber, and Glue-All.

Let's see...maybe you can use those plastic wipey tubs for a pinhole.
