I just received a Pixel 2 as a company phone and although I have never used phones for photography (dislike the handling) I was curious to see if the images from this phone were as good as the initial reviews indicated.
I was pleasantly surprised, but then again, I don't have much to compare it to other than the cellphone shots my family and friends share on FB and Instagram.
The image that impressed me the most was the last one. Not a great shot per se, but it was dead on straight into the blinding sun, with such a huge contrast range that my eyes were not able to absorb the scene, yet the image does not look HDR-fake to my eyes.
