I have a Pixma Pro-100 that I just got setup. I was looking it up online and noticed that the first review this time said it wasn't good for matte papers. That sent me out across the vast internet looking for answers. Seems there isn't a consensus. I'm not sure if the dye inks being inferior on matte paper to pigment inks is old news, no news or the truth.
So my question is about getting good results on matte paper with my printer...
Will it do a good job? Tips and techniques appreciated.
Do certain papers perform better with it? Which ones?
Should I look for a pigment based printer to supplement it? Recommendations?
FWIW, I use Lightroom CC on a Mac and plan to stick with the OEM Canon print cartridges.
