My search is probably flawed, but I'm not turning up much material. Can someone please direct me to photo examples and user experiences with this lens?

I just got back from a week and something long excursion primarily using the 50 planar, its great, really great. I cant wait to get my photos back. On the M8 the pictures retain that great 3d effect of the out of focus areas. The colors are phenomenal as you would expect from a Zeiss lens, the black and whites are a little more tricky and take a well trained hand to hone to perfection. All in all a great lens. Mine came a wee bit tight but loosened up nicely, although its not Leica 50 cron buttery smooth loose I have the feeling after about 50-100 more rolls it will be there. For me the 1/3rd stops dont mater, I would have preferred half stops since I primarily just stick to whole stop numbers when shootings and only adjust when light levels dont allow. The one very very down side of this lens is the hood, its got a lot of girth and can make putting the camera away in a bag somewhat cumbersome, the current leica cron is ahead in the user friendly hood department, but the zeiss hood might provide more protection, its hard to say, when this lens wants to flare it will flare anyway.

All in all? I with it had a bigger tab like the pre current version summicron, but what ya going to do...
