Only this tiny little item missing on my recently purchased GSN :bang:..... Is there anyone outthere to complete my latest acquisition? Wishing and hoping... Brichma.

I yet have to see auction including this little piece. Only time I saw it in some review...or ad print? Hope you'll find it, Brichma.
First I put a piece of insulation tape over [hot]shoe to avoid shocking circuit. Later I realized hot shoe contact on flash isn't active when PC cord is used (at least mine does so).

I have one.
Contact me if you have no luck elsewhere and perhaps we can arrange a trade.

Thank you for noticing my call! The searching will go on for a while, but coming back here for some kind of trade is a real option...

I don't understand this. How would the flash in the hotshoe shock the circuit of the camera? If I understand you correctly what you describe is the same what happens when attaching an old flash with high voltage on his shoe to a digital camera. I wouldn't expect this on a camera this age, but better be warned before I burn my Yashicas.
Could you explain it for me?

Nor I get now why I had such idea...I should understood something wrong?
Then it's interesting why Electro has such plastic cover?
