Plaubel Makina repairs?

I've been toying with getting into medium format film and, if I go that way, it will probably be with a Plaubel Makina 67/670. I like their portability and compactness.

That said, they are not cheap and I've also heard that they can be fragile. I also read that Plaubel themselves did service these cameras, even after they no longer produced them. Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I have a repair person not too far from me, who is a wizard with many types of camera, although I don't know about Makinas. Is there eanything specific about them that a good general camera repair person would have difficulties with?
 
At least last year Plaubel still serviced them, and there is no reason to believe they stopped. They are far from cheap, but they are the only one to have original spares, so you have hardly any other option to get the common cocking and release cable issues repaired...
