I've been toying with getting into medium format film and, if I go that way, it will probably be with a Plaubel Makina 67/670. I like their portability and compactness.
That said, they are not cheap and I've also heard that they can be fragile. I also read that Plaubel themselves did service these cameras, even after they no longer produced them. Does anyone know if this is still the case?
I have a repair person not too far from me, who is a wizard with many types of camera, although I don't know about Makinas. Is there eanything specific about them that a good general camera repair person would have difficulties with?
