I just picked up a Makina 67W and was wondering about which flash should work with this camera ?
The Nikon SB28 that I have works fine in M and A mode on my 670 but on the 67W no go ... The hot shoe on each camera is different so maybe I need to use an old school type flash on the W67 ? ....
Thanks

The Plaubel Makina 67 has no hot shoe, but a cold shoe and flash socket on the lens. I have never heard that the 67W is different there. I.e. any flash with a cable connector will do.

Thanks Sevo ....
I meant to say Makina 670 which does fire the flash if placed in the hot shoe .
Setting up the Sb28 flash so it will not sleep and in A or M mode works great on the 670 .
What I gather from what you are saying is that the 67 and the 67W have a cold shoe with the flash socket on the side of the lens and will need a cable to connect the Sb28 to the camera ..... The 670 Has the hot shoe .....
So the the 670 was the last version with the updated hot shoe .... 67 ,67 W , 670 ?
Thanks ....
