Leica, among others, had a display at Dodds in Cleveland.
New M8 finish does look and feel better. Nice paint, though for the difference I could get my car painted.
There was an 18mm, and the usual suspects, the 28 Asph seemed almost a reasonable price, which means I am getting too accustomed to high prices. They did not have a price list, but I recall the 28 mm to be $1700.
Was also impressed with the Dlux4, but $650 is good coin, that said it seemed a nice package.
Checked out the Sony booth as well, the A 900 is a solid D-evil SLR and along with the Zeiss glass could have me reaching for the Nitroquick, but it may be doable.
Their new P&S is loaded along with auto stitching in camera.
Not a RF though, and while nice in the hand, bit too much for less than very baggy pockets.
Olympus was busy tossing P&S cameras on the floor.
Regards, John
